Our History

Bahle Zondo Foundation, founded by His Excellency Dr. B.I. Zondo, was officially launched to the public on October 16, 2010. Dr. Zondo envisioned this organization as a platform for the youth in schools and local communities, empowering them to take charge of initiatives that address pressing challenges while creating meaningful opportunities for their peers.

From the very beginning, Dr. Zondo has played a pivotal role as the primary sponsor of Bahle Zondo Foundation through his various business ventures. His commitment to the organization has enabled it to make a significant impact in the community. Over the years, the movement has effectively supported underserved learners by providing essential school uniforms, which not only alleviates financial burdens on families but also fosters a sense of belonging and pride among students.

In addition to material support, Bahle Zondo Foundation has actively recognized and rewarded academic and extracurricular excellence by identifying outstanding learners and teachers for performance awards. This recognition serves to motivate and inspire others in the educational environment.

Furthermore, the organization has been instrumental in facilitating bursaries and covering registration fees for students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder educational pursuits. It also works diligently to identify indigent households requiring social support. This includes assistance with housing needs and various forms of socioeconomic aid designed to uplift families and improve their quality of life.

To this day, Bahle Zondo Foundation engage with the community, offering vital support and services while fostering a spirit of joy and collaboration among the youth. Through its ongoing efforts, the organization not only addresses immediate needs but also works towards long-term solutions that empower future generations.
